About Best Pilot Training Virginia
Best Pilot Training Virginia is an FAA Part 61 flight school based at Hampton Roads Executive Airport (KPVG) in Chesapeake, Virginia. We teach people to fly — from a first discovery flight through the private pilot certificate, instrument rating, commercial certificate, and flight instructor certificate — and we keep certificated pilots sharp with flight reviews, instrument proficiency checks, and refresher training.
How we teach
Individualized does not mean unstructured. Every student flies a written syllabus with briefed and debriefed lessons, so you always know where you stand, what comes next, and why. What flexes is the schedule: Part 61 training bends around jobs, shifts, families, and deployments — the realities of Hampton Roads life — without losing the thread of your progression.
What we will not do
We will not guarantee you a timeline, a total cost, or a checkride date — those depend on weather, learning curves, and examiner availability that no honest school controls. We will not publish reviews we scripted, credentials nobody holds, or offices we do not have. Our one location is at KPVG in Chesapeake; every city page on this site says so in its first screen.

Our home field, Hampton Roads Executive Airport, is a general aviation airport in western Chesapeake — an ideal training environment inside one of the richest aviation regions in the country.
