This page explains how Best Pilot Training Virginia researches, reviews, and maintains the information published on this website. Flight training involves federal regulations, safety considerations, and real money — so we hold our content to a documented standard.

How regulatory content is researched

Statements about certification requirements are based on the current Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR, primarily Parts 61 and 91) and FAA handbooks and advisory circulars. Where we describe a legal minimum (for example, minimum flight experience for a certificate), we distinguish it from typical real-world outcomes, which vary by student. Pages that cite regulations list their sources.

How local information is verified

Statements about our location, Hampton Roads Executive Airport (KPVG), arrival procedures, and regional travel are verified by our staff before publication. We do not publish guaranteed travel times; regional traffic — including bridge-tunnel crossings — varies.

How pricing is updated

Pricing pages display a “last verified” date. Costs that depend on third parties (examiner fees, testing fees, medical exams) are labeled as estimates or third-party charges.

How assisted content is reviewed

Drafting tools, including AI assistance, may be used to prepare content. No page is published without human review, and pages covering regulations, training, or safety are reviewed by a certificated flight instructor before publication. We never attribute content to a person who did not review it, and we never invent credentials, experiences, or quotations.

Student stories

Student stories and testimonials are published only with documented permission, which may be withdrawn at any time. We do not alter the meaning of testimonials, and edited excerpts are marked.
